About Ruth

COLLEGE OF KINESIOLOGISTS OF ONTARIO #10491 ONTARIO KINESIOLOGY ASSOCIATION # 1804.

Ruth Dillabough has been a practicing Kinesiologist with the Ontario Kinesiology Association since 1999.  Ruth became a Registered Kinesiologist in 2013 when Kinesiologist’s became Government Regulated Health Care Providers.

Ruth’s first experience was the development and inception of a multi-disciplinary chronic pain management program which she co-owned for 15 years.  During that time, Ruth completed her Master of Education that included a published research paper titled “Fibromyalgia:  The Identification and Treatment of a Distinct Chronic Pain Syndrome”.

Ruth continued taking courses to advance her knowledge while working in a clinical setting with chronic and acute care clients.  Her continued passion in learning and research on chronic soft tissue pain lead her to take individual courses and her Masters Series Training Certification in Advanced Myofascial Release and Structural Integration in 2009 from Barry Jennings, Osteopath.  She believes Myofascial Release creates the most favorable environment in the body for lasting change to occur.

Her personal understandings of chronic pain coupled with practical and continual professional development experiences have lead Ruth to open up her own practice in Myofascial Release Therapy.  Ruth looks forward to unwinding your Fascial Web.
